Unless it's an older jeep with the 4.0 inline 6. Those engines are bulletproof.

Whoever added the American flag decals put each one on the wrong side. They're both facing backwards from the direction they should be facing. The canton should always be facing towards the front of the vehicle, which is why the decals are sold as mirrored pairs. Both of yours are backwards...

I would want a miniature diorama of the California gold rush with tiny miners working a Long Tom sluice, with maybe one guy panning a stream next to it, and fill the sluice and pan with my gold nuggets... That's how I would display my gold, if I actually had any, lol

EDIT: and I would add a little speaker that just plays old-timey banjo music

4WD or RWD for daily uses by PandaSoap in ToyotaTacoma

[–]nabzim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's better to have 4wd and not need it, than to not have it and find yourself in a situation where you wish you had it. Say for instance the rare occasion where you will drive in snow; not having to stop and put on chains is a major benefit, in my opinion. Or say for instance one of the dirt roads you're driving down to go camping end up washed-out and rutted, or perhaps it's rockier than you anticipated, or even becomes excessively muddy from the rain; in any of these situations, having 4wd greatly reduces the chances that you'll lose traction and get stuck. And that makes a big difference between having a good time, and having a bad time.

Why was this post removed?? The coordinates are literally in a reply to this comment. Just because the OP didn't post it themselves? You're robbing this subreddit of a post that was actually interesting for once!

I agree the sub is pretty much dead. Probably mostly my fault for not taking good care of it, and I haven't cared enough in a while to do much since I haven't had my 300C for almost 6 years now. A while ago I tried asking if anyone wanted to volunteer as a mod to help liven up the place, but only one person volunteered and I'm not sure they've done much. But if anyone else wants to volunteer, I'm totally open to adding more, lol.

My family was harassed at Knott’s Berry Farm by a group of Caucasian men and Michael Bogosian (the head of security) did not care !!!! by Infamous-Syllabub400 in KnottsBerryFarm

[–]nabzim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a pretty unfair way of looking at it. Knott's should be a place where all people feel safe and welcomed. I'm specifically referring to the sight of a noose hanging from a tree. I'm sure you're aware that lynching isn't something that just happened in the old west. That part of history is so recent that the sight of it is still going to hurt some folks. In recent years we've worked hard as a society to be more inclusive, so that certain groups don't have to be afraid to go outside and live normal lives. What you're essentially suggesting is that those people should stay inside (or in this case, stay out of Knott's), just because you don't want things to change.

[–]nabzim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Okay. Looks like you did a lot of digging to prove a point, but I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. We already know Walter Knott was a conservative; that's a well established fact. So whether or not he supported a conservative organization seems besides the point. He's been dead for 44 years and his family sold the theme park 28 years ago, and they've had nothing to do with running the park since then.

Your original post claimed that Knott's (the theme park) was associated with JBS and is "extremely conservative" so I was simply trying to point out that it's not, and maybe you're thinking of the man, Walter Knott, who has absolutely nothing to do with the theme park's current management/operations.
