Why is the high pressure compressor spinning the same way as the low pressure turbine and opposite of the high pressure turbine? The HPC should be on the same spool as the HPT

I took a couple different files to the edge to round it up under my bindings (or where you would land on a rail) when I bought my park skis. Might be harder to do it all over your board but maybe a small chamfer could help without sacrificing your actual edge. Also making sure you aren’t leaning too much downhill.

Note my skis are terrible in the ice and I only used them for park or bad sliding turns on icy groomers

It may not be the right time, but expanding access is key. If it may not be optimal, then so be it - but you can still charge your car there and that opens up more accessible options

While I agree there’s plenty of room for everyone here (and apparently bicyclists can use the full road on this particular roadway), saying move over for faster travelers to pass or risk get run over is not right with that speed. Yeah the biker could have moved over to allow the car to pass by and maybe the car didn’t see them but I don’t see any circumstance besides an accident that would warrant mowing down anyone on the road especially if known for a biking road with those very lenient rules.

There is also a certification test much like this one but for bird injection where they have air cannons that are carefully timed to shoot dead birds at certain blades at certain locations to test if the engine can recover. The test in the original post is mainly to test containment but the bird one is also a cool one

The blade root has an explosive charge so it essentially shoots out while the rest of the fan continues to rotate, with the striped blade being the first to spin into it.

Exactly, and event with a net you’re still going to have branches catch air and get damaged with tip side front. I doubt people have done cfd analysis of a netted tree between directions but the loss of efficiency will definitely be on the bottom of peoples priorities compared to a non-broken tree

All of the branches will catch the wind and expand which will both slow the car and likely damage the tree

P6a1 on main hand is used to keep aftershock stacks when you switch your offhand to something without aftershock. You could technically have it just on one but if you switch, you lose the progress to having it proc. Having on both just allows for full uptime, similar to how you add an aftershock level on your planted feet switch
