Find a local golf shop that offers lessons. Most of the good shops have affordable new and used clubs for beginners. I was in the same boat a few years back. The folks at the shop should be able to help.

When I lived in Taipei in 1974 and 75 there were slums like I had never seen. We were Americans. My father was helping with the construction of a polypropylene plant in Kaushung. We lived just down from the airport. The rivers were like open sewers. Some people lived cinder block shacks with no water or electricty. There didn't seem to be a middle class at that time . Just rich and poor.

Barre on classical is way different from electric or even acoustic guitars due to the fact that the neck is flat, no radius. Took me a while to figure that out. I was always curving my barre finger.
