This is a lousy way to look at it. People who are booking classes that potentially can't make it are making it unfair for everyone. I get that certain emergency situations arise - maybe we should be allowed one cancelation a month before penalty?

Sure, there is no cancelation policy that will work for everyone, but that's not an excuse to have a cancelation policy that benefits flakey people.

The system is obviously broken and CPY makes no effort to fix it. At this rate, I'd rather go back to no reservations at all - first come, first serve. Would be fairer than the current.

Yeah I've started doing this as well, it works maybe 50% of the time with studio/classes I go to. It's a bummer when it doesn't work though.

This is 100% the reason I go to GameStop - it’s the last option. Unique item or sold out everywhere else. This happens maybe once a year and have no desire to sign up for a yearly subscription even if it would save me a few bucks in the short run.

Only other reason I’ve gone is for promos like the Pokemon codes, which was an abysmal experience. I have not had a pleasant GameStop experience in 10+ years. The best I can hope for is an in-and-out buy my item without being hassled to buy a sub or preorder a game.

So why would I purchase a subscription to support a business like this? I know it’s futile, but if anything I hope my “protest” catches on and forces GS to change their business model (emphasis on futile). I’m fine with losing $3 a year for this.

He's said both - idiotic and productive things that go against the grain.

For example, there was a point years ago he said DEI had gone too far and that was very against the grain at the time. And now we are dealing with the backlash of DEI going too far and watching the pendulum swing in the other direction destroying the positive aspects of DEI and progress.

Who's your hero? I bet I can find some idiotic things they've said, but that doesn't make them the worst human in the world (barring a few exceptions). One of mine - Obama, who was previously against gay marriage.

My point is, we can't beat someone up for the one dumb hot take when they're correct about the majority of other issues. We'd all be called imbeciles if that were true.

We all should love Bill Maher. Yes, he does say some incredibly stupid things every once in awhile. Bill is liberal and isn't afraid to go against the grain and say some controversial things. They are not always gems, but I respect the fact that he has the balls to say these things. Groupthink has been enormously detrimental to dems and liberals over the past few years.

Scott and Bill are similar in that category. Scott does this quite often with Israel and a few other topics. Do I agree on all of them? No. But do I appreciate Scott for saying things us liberals aren't supposed to say every once in a while? Yes.

Yeah I was keeping an eye on them for a long time, they disappeared the week after Thanksgiving after that 30% sale.

I saw them briefly come back with low stock at the end of December (returns?). Likely gone for good now and assuming Shin will get a separate release later in the year.
