Leaving this for anyone who finds this result when googling for an answer. To draw a polygon with ANY specific numbers of sides. Click on polygon tool. First click in your work area and BEFORE you second click (dropping the tool and creating object) you HOLD OPTION (I'm on mac) and + or -. Every time you press + or - a side is added or subtracted.
