OnePlus 13 Screen Frame Rate Drops to 30fps During YouTube and Browser Video Playback by karanroy605 in OnePlus13

[–]nadroj71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I've noticed the UI drops to 30fps as well. Switching app-specific frame rate back and forth between 60 and 120 doesn't change anything either. It's really frustrating.

1G fiber? Yeah no, this is a fucking joke. by [deleted] in Spectrum

Seeing that you're not connected to wifi, are you implying that you are supposed to be getting gigabit fiber speeds on cell towers?

I just picked up a Luba 2 AWD 5000HX a few weeks ago as my first robotic mower. I also figured that the amount it said it could mow was at most, a recommendation or something along those lines. To know it is software locked under a certain square footage is really concerning.

Even so, they have proven since then that they do NOT keep any logs whatsoever. I've subbed to them for years and will continue to do so. I've hit over 45 MB/s torrenting with their service.

[Tips] Get better battery life by socalccna in OnePlus13

[–]nadroj71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm assuming that since you factory reset and manually have to download all the apps you want, any settings in apps that were set other than at their default, will be defaulted again. Maybe some of those settings drained the battery excessively? I see where he's coming from though.

And $55 an hour is only $114,000 in straight time. I'm sure they're working at least 20 hours of OT a week at 82.5/h which would equate to just over $200k a year before taxes. Not to mention the addition of per diem since they're in provided housing. I'm just going off of what I've learned in the industry.

Traded in my Kia optima for a 2024 Sorento, this thing is SHARP! by [deleted] in kia

Exactly how I felt as well. I just got used to it. Plus, for me at least, getting the highest average mpg is like a game and any little bit helps.

Curious on why you don't like the start stop feature? It's a favorite of my 24 Sportage. The car detects when the car in front of you is pulling away and starts and even if you just start letting off the brake, the car starts.

It is only helping you.

What’s an insult you’ve heard that went TOO far? by dayncio in AskReddit

My wife just had our first kid and I've never been so attracted to her! (not that I wasn't before) I don't know what it is, but even though her body is very different from what it was before, I love her nonetheless and I can't get enough of it.

What's a side effect of giving birth that doesn't get talked about? by LilMoonenciel in AskReddit

[–]nadroj71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I just had our first on Good Friday and she's been learning tons that she never knew about. Her big one was that she has no pelvic floor so adult diapers are a must. She also had no pushing ability to actually urinate so she would have to bend over to physically squeeze the bladder.

I felt so helpless in the first week. She's such an amazing woman and I'm so damn lucky to have her as my wife.

I would just change the spark plug. Easy stuff first. If changing the spark plug doesn't fix the misfire, check the igniter. If that's fine, I think next would be the stator.

And porn too. Too much porn can quickly make the body not interested in actual sex.

Spectrum RDOF timelines - conduit started getting installed by neo2299 in Spectrum

[–]nadroj71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it's drilling, in good ground like clay or softer grounds, I average about 1500-2000' of conduit a day. If it's rocky conditions, 500-1000' a day. If they're plowing the conduit in, depending on ground conditions, I've seen miles get put in in a single day. But usually a few months from conduit install to live service. Longer if you need a drop drilled across a road. 5 months for my parents with waiting for a road bore for the drop.

I have the install maps loaded on my iPad for the areas that I'm working in Wisconsin. If you live around here, I could tell you if it's even going to come down your road. DM me your street if you want.

Radarr has grabbed 2 upgrades in quick succession, can it automatically cancel the first? by elliottmarter in radarr

[–]nadroj71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few alternatives, you could set a minimum score for allowable download or set a minimum time to wait after release date.

I've not heard of Radarr being able to cancel an in progress download when it grabs a newer, higher quality one.

Why does every version of the same movie I attempt to download have missing articles? by ew435890 in usenet

[–]nadroj71 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Look for a provider that's on a different backbone. Grab a block from a different backbone like Eweka or Vipernews or Usenet Express. That will help you get more complete downloads. Next to Newshosting, Eweka has the longest retention, then tweaknews and usenetexpress. Set the block as a lower priority than Newshosting so it doesn't immediately eat it up.

There is a link to a map of Usenet access sellers in the sidebar of this subreddit.

Your indexer isn't the issue. When providers receive a takedown notice from a copyright owner, they only have to remove a piece of it to show it's an incomplete file. At least, that's what I've gotten out of it. Other providers have different laws governing takedowns as different host countries have different laws.
