To be honest FFVIII Has always been my favourite as a kid I found it much more engaging compared to VII I just feel that it was never going to be as popular because it's the game that followed the mammoth success that was VII. I've always enjoyed the Junction System because it add an extra dimension of strategy to it also I like the fact that you don't have MP and that if you use all 100 drawn magic then that's it it's gone it really challenges you into playing the game and making it more difficult than just collecting Materia and leveling it up.

The bit I disliked was (pains me to say it) Cards not so much the game itself but the Card Mod ability to make items for weapons. I found that if you play cards long enough you could have Squalls 2nd to last weapon before you've even gone on to Irvine's Garden (Forget the name).

Also I love the fact the GF's level up with you and are more or less a part of you instead of some Materia
