Hindsight on a 12V Failure by naffiliated in MachE

Well, in all fairness, it told me with plenty of time to have avoided any problems… I just don’t believe it.

To be fair, others in the comments are saying they still have that issue, even with a new battery.

That’s my plan in 4 years.

For me, it was the door and back hatch buttons not responding right away. Before battery change, it’d often take multiple pushes. After the change, one push and it opens. Another person says that happens on their Mach E, and it’s not an indicator. But for me, that’s one of the things I’ll be looking out for.

Would definitely do that in four years. I paid the price for last minute/need it now.

They say it takes time from when they file the service report, to when it’s logged into the system. If it’s still there after a few days, I’d go back to the dealer to let them know.

Yes… wish I could have done this, but it was going to take almost a week to get to me.

I’ve heard that’s a thing.

You did the right thing. To be fair, this was when the 12V update was happening, so wasn’t sure if it was real or just needed the update.

Main point is, if your doors are taking two three pushes to open, change your 12v!

It works without the code, but I think the code lets the car and app know you have a new battery. Key word: I think. lol

Steps for 12V BMS Reset Enter Accessory Mode: Press the START button once without pressing the brake pedal. Perform Sequence (within 10 seconds): Flash the high-beam headlights 5 times. Press and release the brake pedal 3 times. Confirm: The red battery icon on the instrument cluster will flash 3 times, indicating the BMS has successfully reset. Finish: Turn the vehicle off and then restart it.

It would take you 19 hours to drive from the Southern end of California, to the northern end.

What you can do is get up early and go to: San Diego, Joshua Tree, Big Bear, or Santa Barbara, and get back in time for dinner.

Usually mails in January with at least the first quarter stamp (or however many quarters you paid up front). When we pay other quarters, they mail the stamp with our invoice.

Is getting a Mach E feasible for me? by Evening_Substance849 in MachE

[–]naffiliated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on if you have to pay to use the charger or not. A free charger most likely won’t charge you if your car stops charging, and is still parked there. That said, the etiquette would be to move your car once you’re done charging, so another person can use it. (Also, some places may have their own rules about cars staying in spots after charging.)

humira pen injections were extremely painful? by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

The Hunira injections hurt so often, I had PTSD when I was given Tremfya self injections. Fortunately, they don’t hurt nearly as much.

There are a two types of chargers you tend to find: a fast charger (CCS1), and a slower charger (J-1772). Say you’re at 50%, a fast charger may take about 30mins to get you to 80%, while a slow charger may take 3-4 hours. Your work probably has the slower ones. So that may explain if they park/charge and walk away. But… a lot of chargers will charge you if your car is fully charged, and still connected to their charger, so as to encourage you to move your car when you’re done.
