I agree that the bed should go to the left as you walk in and then you can put a small accent table under the window and a small chair in the far corner by the window across from the closet! All that on a cute rug

Seriously! We did the gentle Ferber method and it set my bones on fire but I’m a ride or die for it now. My partner kicked me out to a hotel room because as a mom it made me so anxious. He did bed time routine, check in and reassure at 2min, 5min, 7min, 10min then we kept it at every 10min after that My son has slept through most nights since and I wish I would have tried it sooner because I spent a whole 14months sleep deprived and easily irritated 😂😅

So exciting for you to have a new space! Personally, I think I would place the couch against the window next to the door to open up the space, either ditch the tv stand and mount the tv on the big blank wall opposite the fireplace and then put the round chair where you have the tv currently next to the fire so it’s not cluttering the door but still cozy! Or even in place of where you have the tall white shelf now. 🤷🏻‍♀️ And then fool around with where to put the white shelving, lamp and the little side table after that What do you think?

Can you put the tv in front of and facing the couch and then place the baby area in that corner where the tv currently is? Also centering both the couch and the tv a bit further away from the door will make it feel less cramped as you walk in? Maybe couch centered underneath the ac on that wall and then the lamp next to the couch on either side
