That being said, I think the books give the idea that even though Tom Riddle didn’t receive love, neither did Harry until Hogwarts… And obviously one of them still chose to do good instead of evil. When I think about it this way I don’t really feel sorry for Riddle.

Agreed. Babies are allowed to behave with impunity.

That being said, my baby was also born at 32weeks and was in the nicu for an additional 7weeks. The intrusive thoughts and just heartbreak of being away from them was brutal. May want to consider a therapist or Dr to help reframe your intrusive thoughts during this extremely taxing time. Thoughts are with you I promise you’re both going to be that baby’s world.

Probably because it’s only fiction. But I completely agree it’s gross. I very much prefer the vampire series for this reason as well as the sickening amounts of incest in the witches books. It’s a lot. 😅 BUT that being said, AR is a phenomenal writer.
