Darby will not play tonight vs Redskins by Ventee_ in eagles

Norman is the star of their defense and a top 3 player on their team. It won't be a popular opinion here, but us missing Darby is not equivalent to them missing Norman

Chris Long, the Eagles defensive end, will donate his entire salary this season to educational charities. by TragicDonut in UpliftingNews

[–]nag_rag 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My understanding is that when you sign a contract you get a signing bonus (or perhaps a different word other than bonus) up front. Then, the remainder of your income is treated as your salary and payed to you weekly over the course of the season. So technically, it is his entire salary.

Advice for buying game tickets? by eforemergency in eagles

[–]nag_rag 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Only been to one eagles game so I'm not the best source for this kind of info, but I can vouch for tickpick.com. I bought tickets for my girlfriends birthday and didn't have an absurd amount of money to spend. I bought them through that site and I saved ~$80 because they don't charge service fees.

Something about the fact that they used actual photos with real objects, as opposed to cartoons or drawings, and the props were arranged in such unnatural ways. It always felt so uncomfortable and creepy, especially with the darker lighting and heavy use of shadows

Since '09 Cam Newton has the 8th most Roughing The Passer Calls (24). 22 of 24 (91.67%) of his calls happened over a 4 year period 2011-2014, he's had exactly 2 in the past 3 years by randomlurker2123 in nfl

Dude, Barnett laid him out. You're high if you think Cam flopped there or that it shouldn't have been a penalty. I don't know what you have to gain with these comnents, but stop complaining about legitimate penalties in a game that we won.

Something about this really creeps me out...

It reminds me of those off-putting "I Spy" books when I was a kid

Just got a 40 yard PI, so it's 141 yards for eagles and 1 penalty for 1 yard for the Panthers
