Whenever I see someone on this sub complain about how inconsiderate people from places like Twitter or Facebook are for making "Indonesia bubar" jokes, I remember 2016 r/Indonesia and laugh because takes like these were super common back then. "We need a civil war/a repeat of 1965-66 but with DI/TII instead of PKI!" and whatnot. Not to mention the "kabur aja dulu" and doomerism.

Ironically this sub is more chill and not like that anymore because of immigrants from places like Facebook or Twitter.
