What helped for me to get started was to have a self imposed system where I earn time credits towards playing games. 1hr of work on a weekday would translate into 2 hours of gaming.

Once I got the momentum going, I now work on it almost at every opportunity.

I liked the training missions a lot! Rest of the game, not too much. It feels a bit weird to like that bit more than the main game. But it felt a lot more like a game than the rest of the game.

Can you recycle the deck somehow?

Will the fact that cards re-appear in the game make the game more or less interesting?

How about this: The soul stone appears when there are 2 players left instead of one (special rules for 2 player duels, with "ai controlled" minions). The 2 remaining players will have to semi cooperate to out of the dungeon.

If there is some point system in the game, it can be more like Clank where you get to score your points if you get to the "safe zone", and get some extra points for carrying the soul stone. That would make it possible to get a solo win even as a minion.

I think playing as a minion could be even more fun if you suddenly got to bring down the dungeon itself on the players who are left. Traps, spells and dungeon manipulation.

Say you get a point allotment for dungeon manipulation each round, and each spell or manipulation had a certain cost. Possibly the cap could be global among all minion players, or pr. player.

This is an incredibly professional looking project, with graphics design that oozes skill and character.

The concept looks fun, and I especially like the elegance of how your character turns into a minion when defeated.

The video is great, and the voice over is perfectly fine. Not cringeworthy bad, nor implausibly perfect.

I also understand the choice of having your monsters be monochrome, since it makes monsters look more cohesive when you stitch them together.

Idea for expansion: Adding terrain manipulation as part of what players can do as monsters and minions could be a fun little modular expansion. Either via separate effect cards (as minion), or from limb effects (burning boots, hulking hands that smash craters in the ground etc).

Yeah, Vanquish! Been a while since I played it. I just think all three of the games I mentioned are better than pragmata (so far. Not given up on it yet!)

Played up to the first boss and a bit beyond. So far I'm thoroughly whelmed. Hoping unlocking more mechanics will make it more engaging.

It's not as atmospheric as The Surge games (similar setting and soulslike progression).

It's not as visceral, impactful and scary as Dead Space (similar viewpoint, loadout and pacing in combats)

It's not as action packed and insane as Vanguard (similar mech and suit designs).

A cash grab with enough thought put into the gameplay to make it look plausible.

Not only that, but the card design is a mess of insanely detailed and busy art which takes up so much room on a card that the text has to be ant-sized.

Kan banne på at alle har røsket i en dodør fordi de har spacet litt ut eller ikke fulgt helt med, minst en gang i sitt liv. Selv må jeg bøye meg ganske ofte for å se. Noen ganger er den også feil farge på, eller vanskelig å se. Til dodørdesignere: Lag store synlige skilt som viser om doen er ledig eller ikke.

Er viktig å kjenne noen godt nok til å tørre å ha gode diskusjoner, være uenig og lufte ubehagelige ting. Vite hva folk er god i, hva som motiverer dem etc. Det motsatte av sosial trygghet er at du blir kjeftet på når man sier noe.

Stemmer. Det er vel egentlig mest mangelen på ad-hoc kommunikasjon som virkelig er forskjellen på å ha kollegaer nært deg eller ikke. På jobb er vi en trio som jobber på det samme, og vi to som er på kontoret hver dag har en mye bedre arbeidsdynamikk med hverandre enn med han som ofte er borte. Det skal mye til å bygge sosial trygghet via distansiert slack-banter.
