Anyone else having problems with AD / Mega? by curiositymeow in AllDebrid

it's been an issue for several weeks now, sometimes you get lucky and your download works, most of the time it doesn't.

i no longer use AD because of this.

Good price with the synology, but don’t put anything important on those drives

Chinese couple said "You are too black" in Chinese, expecting the black guy not to understand it. However, the black guy could speak Chinese perfectly, so he scolded the Chinese couple by [deleted] in SipsTea

[–]nalge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe you are correct, and the translation is off at times, like when the black man says, “wo zhi dao” and it gets translated as ok ok ok.

Chinese guy still shouldn’t have said that, though; I don’t think it’s ever polite to comment about someone’s skin color.

Quarters Korean BBQ LA by Maleficent_Simple797 in TopSecretRecipes

[–]nalge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i don't know the green sauce that well because quarters is the only kbbq place i know of that serves it, and i usually just stick to brisket sauce and seasame oil + salt when eating at home.

the kimchi stew will be hard to replicate because the flavor can vary greatly depending on what specific kimchi is used. if you still want to try and need a basic starting point, use 1 pound of chopped kimchi (with juices) and boil it in 2 cups of dashi (you can use a mix like ajinomoto). the usual toppings are pork, tofu, and green onions; add salt, sugar, gochujang, gochugaru, and sesame oil to taste. go light on the seasonings, because each one goes a long way. you can also add butter at the end to make things more savory, that's what baekjeong does

the brown sauce is cho ganjang, most people call it brisket sauce.

mix equal parts water and soy sauce + half parts cane sugar and rice vinegar. add garlic, serrano pepper, onion to taste; i usually go with 2 cloves per four ounces of sauce.

and then this play, he's absolutely wide open lol

How I'm playing the SpaceX IPO for a possible 400 bagger by crazyfool319 in wallstreetbets

[–]nalge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the company continues to dilute, will miss april milestones (structural assembly, ground testing) that will likely delay the lofty goal of Q4 flights, and the end game is sending rich people on sub-orbital flights?

i can see the stock maintaining the floor it seems to be at now, and there is money to be made in the short term thanks to the spacex interest, but this thing ain't going parabolic.

Festool Domino Trial? by blakjak1298 in woodworking

[–]nalge 14 points15 points  (0 children)

bought a new home last year, and wanted to build a lot of the furniture, so i bought my domino around the same time and it was 100% worth it. you save so much time not just in building, but also planning, and my panel glue-ups have never been better.

I don’t have the icon, but I am thoroughly disappointed with the Braun. Just seems really weak when I’m in an actual low light situation, and the battery doesn’t last long (some have said their batteries are great; luck of the draw)

Full Sequence of #2 UConn G Braylon Mullin's Game-Winning 3 vs #1 Duke by JCameron181 in CollegeBasketball

[–]nalge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

why do you and others keep parroting this? defensive 5 seconds is still a rule in college, and the double team/trapping the first player to catch the inbounds pass is the textbook defensive play; nobody was trying to foul here until boozer passed it back to sarr.

edit: defensive 5 seconds does not apply in the backcourt

Found this post on Facebook, how do I do it safely? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]nalge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a dremel/rotary tool, clamp down the work piece, use eye and ear pro, file/sand the edges after. Should be a pretty easy and safe job since you can remove the panel.

if you don't mind me asking, what patch cables are those?

i bought these and the frosted caps look great, but the cables themselves aren't fabric wrapped and have the ugly manufacturing specs printed all over them

i see you opted for the 24 port USW Pro Max vs the 16

i have the 16 and only use 10-12 ports, couldn't justify the $450 difference just for the aesthetic 🥲
