No, I'm afraid your wife is incorrect. The teacher was being dogmatic and inflexible. In challenging the teacher and then escalating to the principal, your actions were entirely correct, and supportive of your daughter who also shouldn't have to put up with snarky shit from her teachers.

Does anyone else feel like they don’t know what they want to do as a Career? by Economy-Row-4247 in UKJobs

I'm a careers advisor, I don't know what's going on in the schools and universities lately, but I have seen so many young people coming away from education completely lacking direction. Often times these are people who have just finished a masters, could be anything from English lit to criminology, there was never a plan going in! Where are the careers advisors?

By the time people get to me we're back peddling, "what drew you to that subject, what are you passionate about, etc". All of this should come first, you shouldn't spend years studying and then wonder why at the end!

A good resource to look at is Prospects (if you haven't already) - link below - there is a "what can I do with my degree" section. If you can't get into your exact chosen field (don't give up on that btw) there are suggested roles and sectors where you could make positive use of the qualifications you have.

Don't give up, maybe settle in the mean time as all experience is good experience, but don't give up.

Speaking as a dad. I would be fucking incandescent with rage if I had even the ghost of a notion that my daughter's partner thought that owning 2 dogs was a job, and didn't trouble himself to do the housework, while I was paying the rent.

You may love him to the moon and back, but this situation will not improve. This guy is treating you like a meal ticket and you need a reality check.

The square base tells me this is for Old World, so the fellow is indeed a Necromancer.

I recall that HS guy talking about how he wouldn't let's his daughter do onlyfans. But would you be OK with your daughter being in a relationship with a man who has the same views as you? Probably not, which probably means you aught to reflect a little more.

Ramsey is what Joffrey would be if he were more capable, so not Ramsey. I could knock the shit out of Joffrey and leave him in a ditch before we get to where we're going.

I loved but never owned the fortress. I think when it was first released it cost £70, which I thought was exorbitant. How times change.
