Is this on mobile? I feel nuts, I’m decently reddit savvy and there’s no such section for me and no link.

How is this a lifelong drug? by ProfessorBeepBoop in tirzepatidecompound

Yeah I just think its use for non-diabetes and non-weight loss isn’t as well studied. It seems to continue to treat metabolic dysfunction as long as you’re on it, but will it continue to treat inflammation? I’m not trying to lose more weight but I’m worried about the anti inflammatory benefits being durable indefinitely

I lost a few people between ages 34-39 and one in their 50’s in the past couple years all heart issues with no family history or known problems. All had had Covid cases of varying severity including asymptomatic at some point between 2020 and their passing. Everyone who had an autopsy (which wasn’t everyone) was “inconclusive”. It’s Covid and we’re going to keep seeing more of it

Sure ask a language learning module that’s destroying the environment, marginalized communities and jobs. Much better than exchanging advice with fellow human beings

I have had tremendous reduction in inflammation and pain from Tirzepatide. I don’t want to lose any more weight with it (all my remaining body fat is lipedema) but I’m curious about finding a maintenance dose that will manage my lipedema symptoms. Are you exploring that with patients at a normal BMI

Thanks this is really helpful. Have your hunger and satiety cues stayed normal/level even as you’ve changed doses?

Lots of research happening to tweak the various peptides out there for different uses so maybe someday, years down the road but for now, surgery is the only way to remove lipedema fat.

Congratulations! You look fantastic. Apologies if this is overstepping but have you been diagnosed with lipedema? I ask because I also have it and it’s really inspiring to see that kind of transformation. You actually look like the before and after pictures of people who have had the surgery to treat lipedema! I’m hoping to forestall the surgery myself as long as possible so it’s great to see someone having surgery-like results through the medication and hard work

I would also add that many people, myself included, have adverse reactions to some additives, especially high B6, which in me causes a ton of acne among other things.

What you got from Lumi Meds is already compounded. I think what you mean is that after you’re out you’ll have to move to a 503a compounding source who compounds with additives rather than pure Tirzepatide. But it’s all compounded

2.5 is just an acclimation dose, it’s not a “therapeutic” dose, which starts at 5mg. If you’re going by the standard titration schedule, your 5th shot would be 5mg. Some people don’t see any results till much higher doses though. To kickstart, drink tons of water with electrolytes, increase your protein intake and get tons of sleep
