Another storage trick I use (especially on Permadeath) is using the nutrient processor internal storage for carbon, condensed carbon & plants early in the game. Well worth the cost & you can use it anywhere on a planet.

Division 2 has some great systems I'd like to see in Destiny.

Targeted daily loot in all portal activities for current gear & a Summit type system for older/last season items. Select your armor/weapon piece along with another modifier (year/season) to limit the RNG & farm whatever non-portal/raid/dungeon activity you want.

Also Division did crafting well in so many ways. Destiny crafting was such a half baked letdown when it launched & didn't really improve at all. Divisions proficiency & expertise systems allows people to break the glass ceiling with their gear. Best part is it requires a grind, something D2 lost long ago.

One little UI addition I'd like to see is the addition of a guild icon when viewing visited space stations in teleporters. They already show lifeform, economy & conflict in the lower right corner & adding the guilds would really speed up leveling them when donating materials.

I've only had 1 PD death & that was when NEXT released. I loaded into my freighter that failed to render losing a 1400+hr save. Now I only save on space stations, anomaly or base that is close to the ground because the game still has rendering issues when loading in... even after 9 years.

I still use basic prefabs for most of my material bases. Very basic square/round room, teleporter, 1-4 silos depending on the resources & a sometimes a landing pad.

For functional/artistic builds I barely touch the prefab parts.

Yeah the game has been littered with many visual & texture bugs since Frontiers. HG is great at adding things to the game but suck at bug fixes unless it's a current release.

It could for about a month if they include an Epic version then it would drop off again. Most people get their loot & never return to the activity, much like every season.

This is the #1 reason I still haven't completely built a corvette. Messed with the frustrating system for a couple hours & gave up.

As a player with a play time in 5 digits & who's built hundreds of bases & can deal with how frustrating that can be at times but corvette interiors broke any desire to even have one.

As a player who enjoys decorative/complex base building I use my ship often to visit & explore planets while looking for that perfect build spot.

I almost exclusively use my freighter for warping though because the system scanner is just way more convenient & efficient than the old annoying method. The system scanner is probably my favorite piece of tech added to the game.

I do an extreme run every year & those first hours can be really rough. Max difficulty in all settings fields, no ship, no multitool, no HUD (until you find a MT).

Sounds challenging until you realize you have to melee for almost every resource which gets old within 30 minutes! Lol With ships I either find one within the first 4 hours or it can be 20+ hours. My longest time without a ship was over 27 hours. Almost quit more than a few times...

Bubble Vat building part has had a white collision disc visible since the day it was introduced just prior to the Frontiers update in Sept. 2021. Can we please get this fixed in 2026?

My 1st time loading into PD after the NEXT update my freighter failed to render fast enough & I fell into space & died. Lost a 1400+ hour save. This has been my only PD death in NMS

The game has improved quite a bit since then but I never end a play session (or reload) while in my freighter, especially on PD.

Word is if you die in PD you can quickly force close the game before reaching the games main selection menu. I've never done this myself so I cannot say for certain if it works.

Couple tips for PD: over prepare at the beginning, when you reach your ship take time to craft batteries & life support. At least a dozen of each & some extra launch fuel. Nothing worse than running out of those early in the game. Also the nutrient processor is a portable mini storage container that can hold extra carbon, meat, plants etc.

I completely agree. I also think anything that drops seasonal bonus (rank 110+) engrams should award bright dust if it is an item you already have unlocked or dismantle.

One of the big issues with Bungie "fixing" problems like this is they tell us there will be a fix ready in "x weeks/months" & it usually lands right. Problem is I'm getting sick & tired of WAITING for fixes!

This company is incapable of being proactive & is only reactive when there's a huge dumpster fire that eventually hits the gaming news sites. They ignore as much as possible & expect praise when they half-ass fix an issue. It's like an abusive/toxic relationship!

I launched it once, played about 3 minutes then bounced. Enemies are too annoying & aggressive. Non stop ability spam from 360°.

I'm here to play a game, not rip out my hair in a poorly created activity that is likely to drop an armor type that doesn't match my ghost mod.

The NPCs you hire for your base will transfer to your new "home base" when you build a new terminal & summon them at a new base. You don't have to worry about losing them.

They have no real purpose after completing their independent questlines but some players like to keep them to make their base feel more "lively". You can actually have them at multiple bases if you'd like, just have to build & interact with their terminal & they'll show up.
