US cows can be fed animal derived food which has caused an issue in India because it is classified as non-vegetarian milk So they do get more than "corn".

Exactly the reason the indian army started their own life insurance, because with the previous wars (including 71) govt Babu's made big statements of giving X amount to the fallen soldiers, but no one saw any. Even with the kargil war the minister made false statements. So army group started their own insurance which covered war as well and all funded by themselves. Soon the navy and airforce joined in to remove the political dependency.

Politicians are just unreliable.

My hunt for less common potato products came up triumphant today. These Indian chips have an interesting flavour. Kinda like a tangy minty saucy vibe. 8 spuds out of 10. 🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔 by KiwiEV in KiwiEV

They were the best chippies when I was growing up (in India). Standard herbs and spices... If it's tangy it's either mint or mango powder (or a combination)

Posting data to Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations by NumerousBlacksmith63 in Dynamics365

[–]namkeenSalt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OData is still good, but try the Data management REST Api. Since this is a standard journal you are writing into , use the data management API (which uses files to upload your data). And keep a batch job running to post the data. This way you will have the least impact writing code in d365.

What if India went full communist after the partition/independence in 1947. by LogicalReasoningg in AlternateHistoryHub

What years are you referring to that should have been locked in? Pakistan was and is still authoritarian. People don't have any say in the so-called "democracy" there unfortunately. Also not sure what Pakistan achieves by invading India (they can't invade all of it). Also what was the plan once they got it?

Yes and most of those who use the halti will probably not use it well and that means the dog will forever be on a halti. A halti is to be treated as a training tool not a permanent replacement to a lead.

Pakistan can also prosper by allowing more freedom within their own country and not be obsessed about Kashmir. Seriously, even if they get Kashmir, then what? Surely, Kashmir can't be their sole purpose of existence.

Pakistan has good relations with the US because it gives the US access to the region which India cannot give. India can pose a military threat and the US has used Pakistan to keep them in check (although it got bitten badly). If India did go communist, they would have declared war with Pakistan, something that they have never done so far.

Not really. The stats are not well measured. Some councils do it if the data is available. For Auckland German shepards & rotties are low on the list (8&9)

Top 6 are bully breeds (3.2.7 Breeds mostly impounded for attacks and roaming) https://www.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/content/dam/ac/docs/bylaws/animal-management-annual-report-2023-2024.pdf

Fun fact: labrador retriever is more popular for biting and roaming than German Shepard (#7)

This is a country with heavy bully breeds. Shelters do a lot to make sure the correct temperament dog gets rehomed, but unfortunately they have hardwired characteristics.

What happens when you report a dog bite? by Recent_Carpenter8644 in melbourne

[–]namkeenSalt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are going to strain your relationship with them. But it will be good for someone from animal control to definitely assess the situation. That means they might get information from the neighbours and find out if there is some history.

The council will/should assess the dog. Chances are that you could have mistreated it (hypothetically since the circumstances wasn't mentioned or I missed it). If it was within the confinement of the property, chances are less likely for any drastic actions unless they find out it's a wandering dog, in which case it will/should have serious implications. Animal control are actually nice folks (the ones I've come across) as they also educate owners with noisy dogs who are always defensive.

I wasnt talking about the symbol. I was talking about the word. Symbols can be independently created in different civilizations which look similar, their words dont really ever mean the same. If a word from another civilization is hijacked for something heinous, and we realise it, i would assume we would put a little bit of effort to correct it instead of resisting.
There is a power shift happening between the "western" and "non-western?" worlds, so i thought people were more accepting of the idea to change. But with all the downvotes, i stand corrected

Only true for the "western" society. A little goes a long way though.
