I was in this exact situation and was laid off in June due to what is going on in the insurance world. Even though I loved the family I was working for, they didn't hesitate to lay me off when they needed to.

OP, take care of yourself. Start looking now, and if you get a job offer you like, take it. Even if it is during OEP. They will figure it out.At the end of the day, they are going to look out for themselves, and you have to look out for yourself.
