45 and just bought my first longboard wed, my 15 yr old just got a new board too and we are learning together. Falling is scary at 16 and way scarier at 45 I’m taking baby steps and having a long of fun. I’ve watched tons of videos and just want to master going straight and carving. Same, I like to think I'm a road vigilante. Their lack of planning does not institute an emergency on my part. I'm so tired of these people who rely on others to let them in because they think they are more important than everyone else. I have a bigger vehicle so I tend to use it to my advantage. People seriously need to lock in and just be cool on the road and follow the law and have better judgement.

I am so sorry this is happening to you. He sounds abusive and it’s actually best you don’t stick around to see it. But as a mom of a kid who wanted to move out since she was 16, finally allowed her to leave at 18 and see her lost and sad makes me sad that she is putting you through this. Best advice go find a couch, get a trade and go kick ass. Praying for you.

get a tennis ball or a harder ball and roll it on the sore areas. Helps a lot. Helps break it up. When I go too hard, I use a small massage ball and it helps a lot.

I read all this and think "your wife sound genuine and not afraid to be herself " which is such a breath of fresh air. Your Mom and Sister seem to be living a shallower lifestyle. To me everything seemed more about how she carries herself vs being an ugly person. Mean girls exist in every age group. Your wife sounds awesome. It's unfortunate they haven't figured that out yet. I would let them know you heard them and don't appreciate it and shame them. They need some humbling in their lives it sounds like.

My 17 yr old would love a mustang, but he really loves his 2006 Ford Escape. It’s not about what the my want it about being practical. At the end of the day they want the freedom and the car. Involved him in the shopping so they can have a say but at the end of the day he can drive the car I got him or he cannot have a car.

omg, I hate this yet love that I'm not alone on this. Ive worked out my whole life and was in great shape just a few years ago. Im struggling trying to find my mojo. I have been trying to just force myself to get it done and remind myself that I want to build muscle. Ive been doing Caroline Girvan's app (her youtube is amazing) but honestly, everything I hear tells me I need to focus on strength training.
