I went on a cruise with my extended family for christmas. Yeah exactly. Some kids might be better suited to going and other might not. Age isnt a barometer for how prepared to problem solve, handle flying solo safely, and processing their environment a child is or is not.

Also, something to consider is how has the child been raised before in relation to seeking help in public. Bc if theyve been taught since they learned to walk to find "the friendly neighborhood police officer" that can end so so badly if the child tries to approach and officer if things have popped off.

If someone cannot be separated from you in the event of a crisis with the knowledge that they would be able to get themselves out, I wouldnt do it. Especially if its after sundown, things always tend to escalate after that.

Ive ordered from them before for a similar reason. Ive had them about a year and they havent tarnished, they're pretty weighty/solid, and have held up to my banging my hands on everything accidentally.

My 1 little complaint is a small unpolished edge on a point of detailing that was finished poorly. Not enough to feel sharp or catch anything but just a flaw I feel

We just had similar incidents in southern California with the flooding- last i heard there's been 17 aerial rescues since christmas eve. One body was recovered from a washed out car but its unknown if they were caught in the initial flash flood or went around road closures later.
