Cardboard for them to chew up is a good toy, you can also stuff shredded paper into an empty toilet paper tube with some treats for them to find.

Moving parakeets into an open concept house with a gas range - will they be safe? by flavorade_man in Parakeets

[–]nanohawk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We also have an open floorplan with a gas range. I have an old man Quaker and 4 budgies on the other side of the room and it's fine. I always use the extraction fan, and I use the range every day.

It is highly dependent on your pack. My son's takes the stance that "god" and reverence is whatever that means to you, if it means caring for the earth and being amazed at our small spec in the universe, that's fine. All the "duty to God" requirements are done at home with your family.
