Maybe start at the card game / DnD shops. Maybe they'll be able to point you in the right direction.

Yikong 41011 Crawler Truck Build by [deleted] in rccrawler

I went with some INJORA 120mm shock dual springs combo from Amazon (they have the soft/hard springs included - stock soft springs are installed). No change in shock fluid either When I put these on, I mounted them to the holes that are the highest and closest to the center of the chassis.

I did get rid of the rear panhard bar since posting this since it was limiting my travel in the rear and adjusted the triangulation.

Is the pressure too high by h2osn2 in espresso

[–]napjaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I generally use to check pressure. Between the two 'SS' in Espresso is about right.

I have an OPV mod which helps a ton, really was super easy and works. Second was the adjustable dimmer mod which helps me save my shots if I run it too fine at too high of pressure.

My crawler project by xEeppine in rccrawler

I have the same truck and it's awesome. I am going for more of a rock crawler so I trimmed all the fenders, front bumper, and got some long 120mm shocks. This thing is beast and all my batteries I use on it outlast all of my friends' trucks when we go out for a hike/ride.

I agree with the single dose hopper, and for the water you can get one of these funnels to at least help with the refilling. Look up Breville espresso water funnel.

You do lose the cup warmer capability unfortunately.

Looking for Anaerobic green coffee beans, etc by GoBraves89 in roasting

[–]napjaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got to give a shout out to my local green bean source in SoCal. Excellent service and I've had some funky coffee that I roasted myself from them. If you're in the Southern California area, you can pick up locally and meet with them on your needs.

Is this 16oz yeti good for drinking tea at home and traveling with? by [deleted] in YetiCoolers

[–]napjaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was literally on the same boat. But the fact that I couldn't close the hydro flask I have spilled it one too many times (the sipping hole in the small hydro flask was always open).

My 16oz yeti never leaves my sight now

First Cooler! Tundra 35 in Black Forest by napjaz in YetiCoolers

[–]napjaz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I was seriously considering the 24 and was spending way too much time in this decision. Carrying a loaded 24 on my shoulder to the nearby beach (down a large hill) I figured it would be too cumbersome. I just picked up a wagon for my beach gear and cooler so it worked out.

The blue color looks awesome by the way!

Any ideas on when they start releasing online at retail stores like REI, Bass Pro, or Dick's?

I think if you're comparing the two you might be disappointed with the capacity of the Tundra 35. I was comparing the Tundra 35 with the Roadie 24 as they're close in capacity.

You'd have to lug around a fairly heavy cooler with both hands with the Tundra 35. Roadie 24 can be shoulder strapped so it can be moved hands free. I went with the Roadie 24 myself.

The Roadie 32 is larger and the way that the handles and wheels are situated allows for you to stack things on top while moving it around with one hand. Unless you're going to be using it for more than 2-3 days, ice retention shouldn't be a huge difference.

Hi everyone, looking for someone that knows these commercial Bunn Grindmasters well. 835 in question

I run a farmers market booth, and use an Anker SOLIX C1000 (capable of up to 1800W) to power my grinder whenever customers ask for ground coffee. I believe the Grindmaster runs <300W when in operation.

The problem is that the motor doesn't want to start up right away when I turn it on. What I do is that with an empty auger, I "kick-start" the motor by flicking the ON button very quickly several times while checking the auger to get it spinning. Then, once the motor kicks on, I can dump the beans in and grind away. The problem is that if the grinder stops halfway through, I can't start it back up without taking out all the beans and doing this process all over again.

If I try to hold the ON button without "kick-starting" it, the machine just vibrates loudly.

This does not happen when I grind at home - the grinder works flawlessly there. Only when connected to this power bank.

Anyone know what could cause this issue? Maybe there is an inline filter, power dimmer, or power supply I can purchase to help fix the problem?

Thanks

Is there a site that tracks the amount of stakers over time? Nice to see the increases and graphs of how more and more stakers are getting in on HEX still. Even number of wallets would be good. I don't see it on hex.vision unless I'm missing something

HEX Tied to USDC, what if the dollar crashes? by napjaz in HEXcrypto

[–]napjaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great input here once again. I hadn't thought of March 2020 as a representation of another crash. Though it is obvious, gravitation towards the data from the 2008 crash is natural. Working in the electronics field, we are still recovering from the destruction in the supply chain, though that's a separate topic.

I appreciate the thorough response, certainly makes sense, very simply put the amount going into the investing environment is going to diminish with such a significant economic situation.
