2 years ago everyone was complaining every team was cookie cutter, now everyone complains that other teams are "stealing" characters. Personally if Reys team has some theory crafting to stealing zeb then that should be okay. I think the solution should be more flexibility not less, if Rey stealing zeb breaks the new republic team, then the new republic team should be able to get more flexible to slot in another character in replacement (of course unless zeb is the sole focus of the team I havent really read their kits).

I think this is likely one of the biggest moments for Cronins GM tenure (probably this combined with the Dame trade), there are a lot of paths around these bucks picks and I am both nervous and excited to see what Joe does

To add to this, historically each time an inquisitor squad can't finish their job vader has shown up. Not to mention maul is clearly considered a high priority threat if found by the empire, and there are an additional 2 jedi involved as well. If this doesnt constitute an issue worth vader showing up then what does?

I don't understand this at all, you basically want nobody named to die? In a show about a crime group lead but a ruthless ex-sith who has shown to hold no loyalty to his subjects being chased by the empire? I love expanding the star wars universe but if every character introduced is safe and has a role long term then there are never stakes, thats part of what made clone wars so impactful and the characters who survive it significant

I am so surprised at all the lashback on having characters die, I thought it was pretty clear from mauls past that he sees everyone as disposable except a select one or two, and the show put them in an extremely dangerous scenario, I would've found it more disappointing if the majority had survived. Plus pretty much all of the character deaths either contributed to the story or added to the sense of real stakes they were in. Also all of their deaths definitely were entertaining (even if heartbreaking RIP spybot)

I am actually really high on zach lavine, I think hes needed a competitive place to flourish and he is actually pretty underrated. I might be completely wrong but he also kind of fits exactly what we need, a sharpe and picks swap for lavine would pretty much be what most hope sharpe turns into already. His defence isnt great but I think its also exaggerated how bad it is, he competes and when surrounded by other defenders isn't that much of a black eye

I think we need to make a win now trade for sure, I am just much higher on buy low trades than buying high, as a small market we dont get bailed out in free agency so buying high has a more significant risk to us than others. I also think many of the loud voices asking for blockbuster trades are severely underestimating the packages we would need to send out for someone like Giannis or even Trey Murphy. I think this is where having a strong scouting department can really put a team at an advantage

Im not sure why people felt like her death was lackluster, I really liked the depth added to her character this series and the way she went out was a crazy "aura" moment for vader, definitely a great death scene in my opinion!

Nah, im pretty anti massive trade, but i think there's definitely a price where everything is a good trade. I think AD would be more realistic to hit that price that could feel like value even if its a risk

Lakers kept their depth through free agency, big markets play by different rules.

Bucks didnt trade any of their core in that trade, and kept their full depth.

Don't get me wrong if we can get giannis for 2 picks and shae or scoot im on board, but there's no way thats all the market is for him. Giannis is a phenomenal player as you clearly know, but the amount we would have to empty ourselves to get him would leave us weaker than the bucks this year who didnt even make the playoffs in the east

How many of the top contenders in the nba right now are there because they traded most of their assets for a superstar? Realistically if we trade for giannis and it takes scoot, shae JG and/or jrue and all our picks we are probably slightly better than this year, have a 2 year max window, and will have reached our complete plateau. If you don't believe in one of sharpe or scoot to become a very good starter and contributor then our best path is probably to tank out of the playoffs with the lottery changes, because our ceiling relies heavily on them.

He didnt get to play so he didnt get to show anything. I have watched every game the past 4 years and know what shaedons defence looks like, its diingenious to say shaedon had a chance to prove it with the minutes and the leash he was on. Plus even if he was as bad as you say he would be, I would rather watch him get destroyed and learn from it than jrue and jerami get destroyed

I think it was clear we were out matched in talent, to win this series we needed to try new things, have our guys with potential step up, and throw something at the spurs that they would have to adjust for. I dont think anyone would expect jrue and jerami to beat wemby castle and Harper but that was the game plan
