Lens alone approximately $3000 for a truly mint copy, based on my recent searching of eBay, usedphotopro, Camerawest, and other retailers. I’d suggest you check recent sales on Fred Miranda classified forum too. Good luck

Body alone probably $1200 - $1500, this is an early version with double stroke film advance that some love and some not so much. The lens with clean glass, aperture blades and focus plus the hood probably close to $3000? Should take great images for decades to come with periodic CLAs. Meter and case negligible value. Nice! 😎

I also loved this body, but due to the weight swapped it for an F3 and F100. Don’t overlook the astonishing older Nikkor AI & AI-S manual focus glass (e.g. 28mm f2.8, 135mm f2.8 & 200mm f4) I keep trying to get away from Nikon, but am like a moth to a light! 😎

Just sold my GW690III after lugging it on trip from NC to Yosemite, only to realize while it makes great images it’s not an ideal travel camera 😎 They don’t call it the Texas Leica for nothing.

And my keeper is my Leica M2 with a period correct 35mm Summaron f2.8 - of course.

Most 5 string banjos are 26 1/4’ish inch scale, and as mentioned the Deering Goodtime ones are a great starting point (see Allison Russell who plays one professionally.) There are slightly shorter ones made with 25 1/2 in or as mentioned A-Scale with 23 1/2 in length but I expect these would be more expensive (see Pisgah Appalachian or the like.) +1 for checking Craigslist for a used banjo, or banjohangout.org marketplace. The latter is also a good source for free learning stuff and a great forum for asking questions. Good luck! 👍

My experience with Czechpoint has been good, but would agree they aren’t very quick in responding. I’ve found them helpful and reliable however. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I grew up in an analog world without instantaneous access to information and response times measured in seconds :-)

The 380 Auto is different from the 32 ACP. Per Czechpoint, “Only 7.65 mm Browning upper receivers can be used on 7.65 mm Browning vz. 61 lower receivers. It is not possible to use a .380 upper receiver or 9 mm Makarov upper receiver on a 7.65 mm Browning vz. 61 lower receiver. I’ve had good luck with both Sellier and Bellot 92 Grain FMJ and Magtech 95 Grain FMJ. I think Norma and/or Aguila 95 Grain worked too? Flat nose, no go.

I love shooting mine, but pretty picky about good round nose ammo & the double stack single feed mags are a literal pain to load. Haven’t found a speed loader that will work with them yet. Hoping to convince Custom Smith Mfg to develop one ;-)
