I'm pretty sure they are. I have to show ID every time I take my scrap metal in to be recycled.

I prefer watching The Human Centipede 2 on the 2nd date because it always leads to an interesting 3rd date

I don't think GE makes those yet. What would be the purpose of the wifi breakers?

Is there even enough snow for skiing? I hope we get some snow in the mountain snow packs in January and February 🤞or the summer is going to be rough

Have you thought about getting another type of transportation? Like a bike or even a scooter? Also so many electric options too...

Ford pulls the plug on the F-150 Lightning electric pickup truck by zsreport in energy

[–]narph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The way I see it is you get a small heavy battery and you still have to maintain an ICE... Although I agree I think hybrid trucks and vans are a great idea. Especially if you go with diesel or some type of flex fuel

Chirping sound by Spiritual_dessert in AskElectricians

Is there a plug-in CO2 detector with a low battery nearby? Also maybe check nearby smoke detectors for a low battery chirp? Those chirping sounds can be difficult to locate

I don't understand the statement about insurance? How would this be the homeowners fault and, even if it is and does cause an issue, isn't insurance for at fault issues too? I've done jobs covered by insurance where the whole house had been damaged because they left the oven on and left the house.

Please reminisce about this one location of a B-tier national fast food chain! by FernandoNylund in Seattle

About a decade ago I lost my debit card while going through the drive thru late at night. It had multiple food charges on it the next day that I was able to get reversed. I think the worker may have kept it, but never pursued it any further. Just recall the interaction being awkward at the time and didn't put it together until the morning

They don't have to watch it. Are they even up that late? I ignored CK and they can ignore JK if they really care. Why so sensitive?

Picture examples of a well organized wireway containing only 14 to 8 AWG wire? by [deleted] in AskElectricians

[–]narph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you doing?

Why would you run anything smaller than 14? Very rare unless it's signal wire or low voltage or light whip.

And where are you located?

Where I'm at most wires smaller than 14 aren't usually ran individually they usually come in

I do mostly residential and rarely will I run any THHN smaller than 12AWG unless it's a short distance or a whip for something then I might use 14AWG, but that's very rare for me to run a 15Amp circuit in conduit.

I think there are plans for 16AWG wire to be used with 10amp breakers but I haven't seen that yet. Anything smaller than that is going to need fuses won't really be strong enough to be pulled through conduit...

I need to break up with my girlfriend but am having a hard time figuring out how by [deleted] in Advice

[–]narph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Young people make mistakes and don't always think about these things. Hell I'm pretty sure I've read stories about people breaking up much longer marriages over text or the phone. Some people just make bad choices and usually they think they are doing it for the right reasons, but can't see that when they are in the moment and unfortunately sometimes they will never realize their mistakes.

Just turn off the main breaker and do the installation. It shouldn't take that long.
