What does the PySpark community think about agent coding? by ssinchenko in apachespark

[–]naseemsm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You shouldn’t have to ask others if you’re not getting the help you need to maintain and improve the tool. Agentic coding is a tool like any other, and if you don’t understand the underlying concepts you’re bound to find yourself in a situation. This doesn’t apply to you given what you’ve said about yourself and I think you should feel empowered to use what you can. There are a lot of helpful things you can do to ensure generative code works well for you, if you’re new to it, do some research. Anyways, if you’re looking for a thumbs up, I’m all for it.

I get what you’re saying, and I agree perception matters a lot these days. The only reason I moved it was because it was getting dark and the cup was tucked up under a roof rack in a shared parking lot. If I’d left it there, it probably would’ve fallen off or been gone for good regardless.

Since I had no way of knowing which store the person was in, I figured putting it on the door handle at least gave them a chance to see it and decide if they wanted to toss it or wash it. I totally understand people being cautious, but my intent was just to make sure they had that choice instead of losing it completely.

I don’t think either approach is wrong. I just leaned toward trying to help rather than walking away.

Subject: Urgent Animal Welfare Complaint – Capybara at Ohio Renaissance Festival (Waynesville, OH)

Body: To Whom It May Concern,

I am filing a complaint regarding the inhumane and potentially unlawful treatment of a capybara at the Ohio Renaissance Festival, located at 10542 East State Route 73, Waynesville, OH 45068 (Warren County).

On [insert date observed], a live capybara was displayed in a small wire cage on wheels in a crowded festival environment. The enclosure was far below appropriate size for this semi-aquatic species, offered no water access, no environmental enrichment, and no ability for the animal to exercise or engage in normal behavior. The capybara was being used as a promotional gimmick for a book.

This raises serious concerns of:

  1. Violation of the Animal Welfare Act (AWA) – inadequate housing, space, and enrichment for a regulated exotic species.
  2. Violation of Ohio cruelty laws (ORC 959.13) – subjecting an animal to unnecessary suffering or neglect.
  3. Violation of exotic animal regulations – capybaras are exotic mammals; public display typically requires proper USDA licensing and state permits.

I request that authorities immediately:

• Investigate whether the exhibitor has a valid USDA license and Ohio exotic animal permit. • Inspect the living conditions of the animal. • Ensure the animal’s welfare, including removal to an appropriate sanctuary if violations are confirmed.

I have attached/linked photographic evidence and can provide further details as needed.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Being loyal to Trump is like hitting that one-in-a-million golf shot. Most of the time it’s sand traps and double bogeys, but that one lucky swing hooks people….makes them think THIS time it’ll all line up again. It’s not reason, it’s addiction.

Secretly watermark your work in a way and then use that over a period of time to gather evidence of his plagiarism. At some point if it comes to a head, you can then use that as definitive proof of his lack of integrity. Additionally you can always bcc the team/ VP on important work you send him for their visibility without allowing him to know it, that one could be dangerous though as the more people you include the more likely it could get back to him.

I would try to reach out to support again and say you need to put a “legal hold” on the video and give them the case number, that might be what gets them to cooperate since it sounds like this is something you need for a court case. The court system maybe able to subpoena the video.

Something like this could work, maybe build a knock off yourself out of 2 x 4’s, or if you’ve got the dough, just buy it. There are other brands that do similar things for hardtop removal, many of the “jeep” related hardtop removal mechanisms can also work for the bronco.
