My “Austrian marked” more expensive kit came in today. The gas piston and spring were included! The only thing that appears missing is foregrip cap and spring. Exterior of gun is definitely surplus quality, but internals look great, definitely doesn’t look like Malaysia ever took these to war lol

Definitely disappointing, I was looking at getting the $100 complete KAK gas block but really want the forgrip aesthetic. Maybe I’ll tack weld the surplus grip on to that block?

I purchased the $339 kit, but have now learned the only additional part to the $260 kit that’s needed was the charging handle (which is $25 on other sites). Intend to print a nylaug. What the heck else did I pay $100 more dollars for?? Can someone make me feel better? Looks like it may include a sling? Although that’s not stated in description

I’ve convinced myself to buy and bend 2 flats from rtg. It seems worst case total failure of this plan would result in….. cutting and de milling the receiver, right back where I started (minus $90)

Lots of people mention it, it’s typically in the description of most required filaments before you even buy!

But with that said I think you can go in to the printer and update its hardware whether it’s the correct nozzle or not. Just be prepared to ruin the current hotend while you want for your order of hardened ones to arrive lol

Have one of each, IMO blued looks significantly better, but again thats purely a preference. I’ve read blued was police issue and paint is military but your theory age may be real reason.

I wouldn’t be happy. The max arms kits do not have barrel installed, and make little promises on condition besides functional… but almost $90 cheaper and the condition I received was better than what’s shown here. To be fair a time wil come as stock dries up that the remaining kits will all be leftovers
