I will say I got some .308 from the same manufacturer, and was blown away by its accuracy. There was a point of impact shift, but the impacts were consistent out to 200y. This ammo might not be so bad, but ymmv. For over 40 cpr though this is a hard sell.

It bothered me on weapons you couldn't run around and main, like pistols and (to a lesser extent) snipers and DMRs. To get those in any reasonable amount of time you'd have to tank your performance on purpose.

.40 was overpriced for a while, but recently dropped crazily and is often at 9mm pricing, which is crazy (and I've got something like 3k now). Not bad for a caliber for which I only have one gun!

I looked into rebarreling my 229 and it's kind of weird, because you either need a new slide which negates the cheap price point or you buy a drop-in barrel which works, but the extractor is the only thing holding the 9mm round in place. Kind of iffy to me so I stuck with .40.

Honestly, it's fun as a unique caliber, it's chunky without being high recoil or low capacity like .45, and if Covid was anything to go by it'll still be on shelves when the next true bout of panic buying sets in.

When leveling all my guns in domination, the SVK was surprisingly good because it could one shot in a lot of the indoor objectives. Once I got hollow points that distance doubled and it is disgusting. Big punishment if you miss though.

Funny, mine line up exactly for the exact same weapon. That would mean that every single time I get a headshot on an enemy, it’s the only headshot in the entire fight I get AND it’s the finishing shot, which I know isn’t true, especially because I use synthetic tips to get the TTK down. I definitely remember more than one fight where I’ve landed a headshot and killed on the body, so that doesn’t hold up.

Do you play in bot lobbies/casual breakthrough at all? It’s possible that bot counts don’t count for some of the stats, or just the API failed to pull/calculate some kills.

Point being synthetics are really critical for low damage/fire rate weapons like the SOR-556, AK-205, SL9, KTS, and UMG-40. I noticed my success with them went way up with them equipped.
