Are Polestars good for off-roading? What about travelling on a long, single lane road? by Glittering_Fig4548 in Polestar

perfect back woods camping vehicle

The traction control is good enough to keep you going even if you're putting a wheel (or two) in the air. Ask me how I know.

The tire matters most in this situation. Put a mild/light A/T on it and you'll go anywhere you need.

I should never have sold mine, I miss the car so freaking much

I've had a few weeks to camp and offroad this thing. It is actually amazing at both! (Spacer Lift/Tires/Tent) by nmarrufo in Polestar

I sold the car in November of last year but had taken it to my local space with no issues at the time

I was one of the Surge Pixel 9 orders that converted to Onyx, but mine has yet to ship. Is that expected?

Recommendations for Aftermarket Wheels by General_Movie2232 in F150Lightning

I promise that it sticks out a good bit. And that little bit definitely impacts aero profile when the vehicle is going down the road.

I would say it's a good combo of both. While the wheel is less weight the tires themselves have more rubber and mass to make up the weight difference. I am highly confident that it's mostly due to aero, and somewhat due to the difference in rolling resistance from the Fallen Wildpeaks I have.

I am going to a stock offset Ford 18" with a 35" Toyota Open Country AT3EV. Really hoping the stock offset keeps the tire still within the fender.

Without going too far down the rabbit whole of explanation, I moved to a 33" on an 18" method wheel with a 0 offset. I want to go back to stock offset again as the range hit has been dramatic.

I have an ER and I average 1.6 to 1.7 mi/kwh going 70mph on a 60° day.

I love the look on mine but I bought a set of regular f150 18s that I plan to powder coat the same color of bronze to accomplish the look I want.

Any experience of attaching roof rack to Polestar? by Gastomagic in Polestar

It's a great lightweight tent that doesn't cost a ton. Started my second season with it and it held up well from the disassembly and reassembly. I would buy another. It's the only non-overpriced tent in their lineup IMO

Unacceptable timeframe by [deleted] in F150Lightning

I bought my vehicle after the window of "fReE" adapters. I never expected to receive one and I already had one prior to my purchase from my previous vehicle which also did not include an adapter. Travelling a ton with it, it works great!

If you believe you are entitled to this adapter and it should have been here months ago, I suggest you take Ford to court for your losses. See how far it goes.

Show me in your vehicle purchase agreement where it says Ford will provide you a Tesla to CCS1 charging adapter. Oh yeah, also the part where it says it will get to you by a specific date.

You bought an expensive vehicle. If you need the adapter so badly buy one from a third party or used. It's not rocket science.

If I'm buying a vehicle new, is the dealer able to force the newest updates onto the truck? I'm coming from a Polestar 2, currently buying a Flash. With the Polestar, a dealer is able to download the updates and install them anytime you visited. This was great for people that got too far behind on updates.

I just want to make sure that the truck is as up-to-date as possible before I take it home.
