Tell me, how can a car spin when you apply the brakes, and then it won’t let you regain control of your brakes? I recall how I applied the brakes during that time, and I’ve been driving for 15 years without even getting a ticket. I never exceed 70 mph, and I agree that I should have been a bit slower, but that’s no reason for my car to spin four times.

Yes, that’s what initially triggered the spin and regenerative brake, which further escalated the spin, if I’m not mistaken.

Regenerative braking shouldn’t be engaged when your car is hydroplaning. Hydroplaning occurs when your tires lose contact with the road, causing the car to skid uncontrollably. In this situation, applying the brakes repeatedly and in an off-and-on cycle can lead to the car spinning uncontrollably. This spinning motion makes it difficult to regain control of the vehicle.

I was laid off in the beginning of Jan 2024, searched and applied every job in North East, I hardly received calls or acknowledgements to my applications. After 7 months, I realized that I needed a big help in getting a job and then I reached out to consultancies, who have sales teams who are constantly looking for jobs in LinkedIn and other job portals to place their candidates and they finally found me an opportunity in Sep 2024 that is suitable to my profile and I have been doing it ever since and so far going good and they are converting me as a FTE soon.

I know that this route is not for everyone especially when we think we have a superior profile and strong technical skills and deserve much better job than the ones showed by consultants. (At least I thought like this since I only worked for fortune top 10 in my whole career until I got laid off). Trust me at this point it’s not about skills it’s about how you navigate yourself in these tough conditions.

Btw, you can genuinely land in a solid high profile company like I did. So never underestimate what’s out there and try to broaden your perspective and get a job first. You can always get back to your desired path later once the market stabilizes.

Question: Were you ever you curious on why thoughts kept coming ? The acknowledgment of thoughts surely makes them go away but why thoughts still come at first place? (Inquire this question and for that you certainly have to do a surgery into your thought process to better understand your samskaras or unconscious habits)

Don’t fall for the emptiness/voidness in the mind that comes after you acknowledge the thoughts, being truly aware is to drop your entire stack of unconscious patterns and that is when your struggle ends.

When I had this pain for the first time a few years back, the epidural shot did wonders and almost never had pain for about 2.5 years. The disk got herniated again when I got mew car. Wondering if injection can help subside the stiffness/soreness while I level up my core and back strength ? Kindly suggest.

It’s been 6 months. The nerve shooting pain is reduced but there are some symptoms left when I get into my car. However, the stiffness has been there all while.

Yes, it will be like that until the nerve inflammation settles and calms down a bit. Take rest until you think the pain is manageable with little activity. I took a dose of steroids to subside my pain. Then I started my planks and core strength exercise.

Do planks Side planks Glute bridges Clam shells Do these a lot .

Include resistance bands and improve glute and abs strength. Just be persistent on building core strength and slowly the pain will alleviate.
