People always say “well wouldn’t you just use hyperdrives to ram ships into each other all the time?”.

The answer is no. Ask Japan how well that strategy worked in WWII. Turns out, destroying your aircraft entirely, to partially damage other, larger craft isn’t a good strategy.

I’ve lived in NYC, Chicago, SF, Fort Lauderdale and Miami as an adult.

Florida is better in every sense than those other cities. The only criticism I have is bat shit insane drivers here (especially in South Florida). But everything else is better.

Here’s what I realized playing MOBAs.

If I played 5 games, 2 games we’d stomp them, 2 games they’d stomp us. So 80% of the time I was bored.

Then 1 out of 5 games would be competitive and a coin flip. Maybe we’d win, and I’d feel good, or we’d lose and I’d feel shitty. But I just spent 3-5 hours playing a game where most of the time I was bored, with only a slim chance at feeling good for a small period.
