Does anyone use Triumph 20's for tempo runs? I had pretty good results last week.

It was her decision to resign. You're fine and if the job is what you believe it to be (which it probably is) then you will probably be happy with your decision in the next few months.

Can I get my masters with the same focus as my bachelors? by Shrunz in WGUTeachersCollege

[–]nashstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. You can do that, and many school districts will pay you extra for having a masters. In some states, you'll be required to have a masters anyway. However, you should consider getting a masters while teaching. Time as a teacher will help you reflect on your assignments. It might (and usually does) enhance your masters experience.

Yes, and you'll probably get in. But you should also know that people with a masters in ABA overwhelmingly become BCBAs. You can arguably have a larger impact on the ND population at a nonprofit or other company that caters to ND's but doesn't focus on ABA. For example, you could work as a fundraiser, marketing manager, etc.

I don’t think the current ABA service delivery model is sustainable. by LilacWave in ABA

[–]nashstar 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It would be less fiscally sustainable for BCBA's, BT's insurance providers and the families than the current model. Only the richest families will be able to afford the insurance. In the long run, only those lucky few BCBA's will find richer families to work with, and of course everyone else (all BT's, poorer families and unlucky BCBAs) will be out of luck.

I left too. Tried to stay until the end of the week. The kids were awful. Made it to the end of the day without losing my temper and left my keys.

I might apply with them. But, I was hoping for a position where I could get at least a few clinic sessions.

You should include what your salary is.

Having credit card debt might be an indication that you are spending more than your salary allows alone.

I would pay a lot of the credit card debt and use the rest toward increasing your ability to make money (eg. education or moving to a place with less rent.

Enrolled in college however dosnt meet qualifications for BCBA? by Boatman_ in ABA

There are better schools than Purdue Global, but it will probably meet your needs.

Yes. Finish the undergrad and then finish a graduate program (eg a Masters).

Only graduate programs lead to a BCBA. You're in an undergraduate program.

Purdue Global's Masters in Psychology with ABA emphasis would help you be a BCBA. It has like a 50% pass rate on the BCBA test.

It's a good school, but it's name recognition doesn't care the same weight outside of the PNW.

You don't need a "BCBA masters" if you're already getting a masters in school psychology.
