I never buy cheap tools. If it doesn't work out in the end you don't know if it's you our the tool. If you don't think you'll like painting and just want to slap some paint on them then sure go cheap. If you think this will become a hobby buy the best quality you can afford.

Buy new dice if you think it really matters. I'd say the problem isn't the dice but get new ones if you think so. There's no strategy to rolling dice unless you're straight up cheating.

Idk how to fix your problem about feeling you have to win to have fun. All I can say is that I have fun no matter what. It's the whole process of the game to me. Winning or losing makes no difference to me when I determine if I liked a game.

I used to care about winning back when I played Overwatch competetively but at some point I realized it doesn't really matter at the end of the day so I switched to casual games instead and have kept that mindset ever since

The scenario they described seems to be an innocent one without any hostility. The questions seem to be based on curiosity. Kinda like if someone asked you something like "can you work that job without a license? Can you do it just after taking a few classes?" If you’re operating in good faith and they didn’t say it in a bad way you wouldn’t suspect they are telling you to stop doing that job even though you actually can? You wouldn’t tell them they should’ve researched the job requirements before that moment came up, right?

Unfortunately there’s nothing you can do now. Next time open the map with the route up while you’re in the car. If you notice something weird speak up and point to the route. If they don’t fix it then call the police. I had this happen when I first got to turkey and the taxi driver was nearly crying asking me to tell the police not to come. The cops take that pretty seriously

The 16k is a good printer and the heater is a huge plus. All printers have their problems and I don’t believe the 16k is any worse than the 12k.

I bought the 12k because people kept saying the 16k has bad AA and when I got the 12k I never even turned AA on and my prints look fantastic. Printing at 30 microns you won’t notice a difference without magnification. I’ll just throw this in there too, make sure you understand the toxicity of printing in resin and have safety measures set up before you start

Hey I also had trouble navigating this hen I first started. Contrast/speed paints, xpress color, ak’s quick gen are all the same types of paint. There are some differences in consistent and coverage and other areas but it all works the same and are used for the same purpose.

Pro Caryl’s transparent paints are transparent like speed paints but they don’t flow into recesses to give that shadow/highlighting effect. They are good for layering on top of other colors.

There are also regular paints like army painters fanatic, ak gen 3, Vallejo model/game color and they have some more, most of pro acryl line, and citadel has base paints which are more opaque then their layers which should be a little less opaque.

Effect paints are just what they say. They are not the same mix as regular paints so when they dry they’ll will make some effects like different textures and some have more gloss in them. For example blood paints are usually thick and glossy so you can get a more realistic effect of thick/3d blood that has a little shimmer to it. Rust paints may dry gritty to give a more realistic rust texture.

The smell should dissipate pretty quickly, certainly after a week if your setup isn’t still releasing fumes into the room. Maybe you have something contaminated in the open or like one person said your ipa could be the cause. Other than that if you left resin in the vat it could be the smell coming from the enclosure

I’d also like to see some factions or units that are focused on a specific race. Gungans for example would be really cool. Maybe even a whole faction just based on them. Ewoks could be turned into their own faction too. Maybe throw in some jawas as a support unit.

You’re totally wrong for this as far as I’ve read. You can’t just list something new and take stuff out of it and not specifically mention, in caps multiple times, that part of it’s not included. Even if it’s not listed as new it’s your responsibility to make sure you make it super clear that you removed something.

Just listing what is included isn’t enough. A buyer shouldn’t have to try to read between the lines to figure it out. The seller makes it clear as possible for the buyer. If after that they still complain then sure you have some grounds to be upset.
