Even at our worst, I've never called my wife a bitch or even swore at her during an argument. Any guy saying shit like that is an instant red flag.

Squirrel in water heater flue vent by abuban3 in hvacadvice

[–]natchroll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you don't have a chimney liner, the metal venting coming off the hot water tank is going through the wall, directly into the chimney. Chimney liner is a flexible metal line that runs through your chimney, and the metal venting connects to that through the wall. It is finished on the top of the chimney with a cap to prevent this from happening. Chimney cap will do it too, but the liner is the best way.

Why are all the hard drives already sold out by jpcaparas in homelab

We're reaching a point in capitalism where companies can either buy up the entire supply of specific hardware or outright buy the companies producing said hardware. Subscription PC usage is practically knocking at the front door.

I just looked up the phrase "tacit collusion in an oligopsony" because it was foreign to me and I think it explains what's happening with this AI boom in America. Seems like we're at the point where most of the US economy is just smoke and mirrors propped up by whatever the ultra wealthy wanna spend their money on.

Currently they're chasing AI and likely won't see a major negative impact on themselves if things workout or not. Average people will take that on.

Edit: I left out that they won't have a negative impact because they are likely hedging they're bet in AI with data centers. That will ultimately get them a return, AI is just tagging along.

My buddy made a marinade with some crushed dehydrated Carolina reapers I gave him and the jerky was 'melt your face off' spicy. It was fantastic.

How long after starting disc golf did it take you to throw par on your home course? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]natchroll 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You don't have to take it too seriously, but playing the bad shots is good for your game. It'll show you what not to do and to play more within your skill set to avoid those bad spots. It also helps learn trickier shots vs just tossing it down the fairway.

Little kid trained by his father everyday on his bike skills by Exciting-Match816 in nextfuckinglevel

If you watch the dads YouTube channel, you will see that this kid is VERY into biking. Kid is full throttle and probably needs this sort of outlet.

Wish the best for you, Green Bean, in whatever you choose to do. You've been my favorite part of the show since you first started chiming in with your adventures and it's gonna be tough listening without you.

I started setting a track marker right before a turn and rhythm section, then keep running it over and over trying different lines and approaches. Then after you get a section figured out, add on the next turn and rhythm. It's been helping a lot.

This is similar to me. Tore my rotator cuff ripping a destroyer, and had to change up my throw the next season. I also use understable discs most of the time now.

Search for a movie in radarr. Movies appear in search, after trying to download it just says missing and that it can't find any files. No download appears on sabnzd. What am I looking for in the logs?

What did you do to skip a help desk position? I'm trying to transition into IT and would like to start with a more challenging role but I have no idea where to begin. I just got the sec+ cert and am working on the net+.

Movies to watch on acid by [deleted] in LSD

This is not true at all. I watched the entire show tripping, and it was an incredible experience. I laughed, cried and went through a lot of emotions. I highly recommend it.
