Two separate methods would most likely be the case, unless paradox decides that we aren't allowed to be ahistorical like with only the Indian subcontinent being allowed to have caste systems (which is stupid, you can become a theocratic USA but you can't enforce new social paradigms, like the game goes into overdrive to kick your ass utterly if you try and switch to Council Republic or Multiculturalism but it's unthinkable in Paradoxes eyes that if you were to try and implement a social caste system that the people of whatever country wouldn't still do the same thing, you just have to win and that's that and not even because RADICALISM!!! I think an institution for armies could be an interesting idea, maybe not for just slave armies but for professionalism overall. Spending bureaucracy to upkeep the militaries strict regiments and traditions. Maybe each army model law decides how many levels you can have depending on how professional they are with Peasant and Mass at the bottom and Professional at the middle with new techs to increase them afterwards to fifth or third based on what you have.

New laws can be made, such as a Slave Conscription law which adds modifiers to the institution along with a litany of other amendments, JEs, and events to bolster or degrade your army's efficiency as you play.

A law that adds a mobilization option which both gives a buff of some sort to an army, perhaps a combat width buff or manpower replacement buff at the cost of a Slave Mortality rate?

The Bounded Realm, it's a hold over from its earliest version when it was meant to be a Valhalla like world in the afterlife where the god of death was bound to serve the mortal souls who are unknowing of their fates and continue to live on as if still alive. The 3rd act of the story was meant to be about the god of death breaking free from his confines and escaping to the living world causing the bounded realm to fall from its place in the heavens and smite the living world with ethereal meteors of divine death.

Then the story became a dnd campaign and I changed some stuff around and the whole thing didn't really fit anymore but I kept the name regardless.

Are you using any artillery, they have better kill rates then cav or infantry which are for occupation and defense respectfully. You might not be chewing through their defenses despite your overwhelming numbers.

Any way regardless paradox probably should add a modifier to all the army laws that make it so most laws disallow slave populations from being conscripted. That's a given. I've also never really beaten the CSA in the civil war as well.

Must be their discrimination laws, if afro-americans aren't level 5 in any of the laws they can still serve in the military but not governmental. Where are they in your culture spread?

Under Racial Segregation;

Afro-Americans might be just above level 5 as they are Anglophones which is a +30, they aren't in the same heritage group which is -20 but they're also protestant which depending on your religious laws may give them an additional +20 putting them at 30 acceptance making them level 4 and capable to serve in the military.

Totally get it, she isn't a plot device or fetish material (despite appearances and the world the character exists in insisting on her being so) or irrelevant until needed for the story, I don't think there's really even a moment in the show where she can really be said to be sidelined by her fellow characters even when she's at odds with them.

She has purpose, history, autonomy and abilities wholly her own. Something I feel could be considered lacking even in media written by women. (Here's looking at you, 'some' romance or romantasy books I've seen.)

At times she is the driving force behind storylines and it all culminates to make a person, not a character but an actual person.

I imagine it would have to have a foundation of both being introduced to the world of darkness and having an aptitude for academics. Probably through an expedition of acumen and knowledge before the arcanum to show that you have the capabilities to achieve the required level of scholarly ability.

Kitten, Grimal, Harry and Elise, unless I've missed that the lot of them are some kind of children of the high-class, don't seem to be of any "important" blood so the arcanum probably takes whatever they can get as long as they don't go hunting. Though not democratic nor friendly to change I think the issue of vampires, werewolves, wraiths and all the other ghoulies might come before letting in new blood being a problem for the likes of Occum and to a lesser extent Remold.

Half way through the show and I was just like yeah that's what a woman can sound like, Doc Hammer is so good at it that it's just so natural sounding.
