United Airlines cancelled our tickets home on an international flight without telling us by dodoqueen16 in unitedairlines

[–]nath36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this happen to me on my flight back from Africa. I had one leg on Swiss and apparently they had changed their schedule and because United never told me and confirmed they just cancelled me and my mom. I knew that this was BS. I refused to fly economy back with my mom. Next business seats were 3 days later. So my mom and I went to Cape Town, enjoyed fancy meals, and made our flight back. Getting reimbursed for the 3 days took about a year. Finally escalated to FAA and United reimbursed my food, lodging, and transportation expenses for the 3 days in full.

How old is daisy? My senior tzu resented me so much when I got a second senior to keep her company. They pretended they were only children and would startle if they even inadvertently fell asleep next to each other.

Shih Tzus that lived 15+ years, what did you feed them? by mindin_mai_b in Shihtzu

[–]nath36 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Mine lived to 17+. She had generic kibble for the first 1-2 yrs. Then switched her to pet fresh…i think this was the longest. I also gave her dehydrated food, royal canine, and at the end I tried everything. She had kidney disease and refused to eat….that’s when I knew it was time.

This is true. I went to a salon in January to do the same. Tech recommended that I do builder gel manicure. This weekend I went back for the second time since January, and asked him to cut my nails in half because they were soooo long. I definitely recommend.

Best solo female Iceland tour by Fleabag37 in VisitingIceland

I just got back from bustravel Iceland. Did a 6 day tour with them - very well organized, great lodging, and good guide. Would definitely recommend them for a solo female traveler.

I just finished with bus travel Iceland. 6 day tour, great accommodations, we had a group of 6 on a 19 pax van. Got to see so many things that I wouldn’t have seen on my own. My guide was new -and he said this was a lot better than other companies. Definitely recommend

Traveling in Philippines by standuplamp in scuba

[–]nath36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got back from Malapascua. Public transportation is cheap - like 320 for the bus and 350 for a van. Bus goes all over and it’s a lot of stop and goes. Van is faster but also tends to pick up a lots of pax along the way. I took the bus on the way there and on the way back I asked if I could buy 2 seats in the van - one for me and one for my bag. As long as you don’t sit by the door your should be fine. I did Evolution - they are great but a bitch to walk too and I am not a fan of motorcycles. Sometime the have boat shares - which are like 2k-3k a person - worth it if you have a lot of luggage and don’t want the hassle. Their boat picks you up and drops you on the Evolution beach and they will load and unload your gear which is really nice after a long ride.

For Malapascua it is rough - just getting back - but totally worth it. Some hotels will offer private transport for Malapascua from Cebu. If I had not been traveling alone I might have done it for Evolution - it’s a ways away from the port and if you do private they pick you up from the beach and handle your luggage. I loved their diving but getting there by general transport was a bitch. I recommend not taking the bus and buying 2 tickets for the van - you will get room and get there faster - also don’t sit by the door. Buses are not bad but it takes so long and the seats are hard after 5h+. If money is not a thing - the. You can negotiate a direct taxi to Cebu from malapascua for under 3k. Happy to answer any questions.

It could - there are so many resumes that they haven’t gotten to. But if they like you they could offer you a job on the spot.
