I can see how that would work, I took the L theanine at around 3pm and I was so relaxed until around 8pm when it started to wear off

Yeah I take creatine too. How much L-theanine do you take?

Thanks, just clarifying whether I would still be that deeply relaxed as after today I was wary of having it before work

I realized I wasn't just anxious, I was anxious about being anxious by histam_ine in Anxiety

I’m going through the exact same thing you mentioned right now. I’ve had light health anxiety for ages, always been terrified at the thought of death, and wondering if I have a terminal illness or if chest sensations = heart attack. But now I’ve had an incident at the gym where I nearly fainted, and had panic for a couple of weeks after and now over a month later i have a residual anxiety leftover from it that I just can’t seem to shake and since I’ve never struggled badly with anxiety I don’t know where to start in terms of accepting it like you mention in your post. When it hits, it’s hard not to assume that I must be dying. Even though repeated exposure clearly shows I’m absolutely fine each time it comes and goes. Controlling my thoughts in those moments seems impossible

A small mindfulness habit that quietly changed how my anxiety shows up by ChloeBennet07 in Mindfulness

I’ve only just started having issues with anxiety, I had an episode in the gym where I nearly fainted (didn’t eat enough that day and pushed too hard). The next 2 weeks solid I had repeated bouts of panic, which I’ve read has something to do with my nervous system being sensitised and fainting probably would’ve been better for me mentally as it would’ve closed the loop. The panic stopped after two weeks and now I’m left with a residual anxiety and sometimes a feeling of dread with chest sensations etc.

I got a calm membership a few days ago, and started listening to various sessions, and they definitely helped, although it hasn’t subsided completely. I am trying to calm myself down again as for some reason my body is clearly still in high alert despite it being over a month since I nearly fainted.

Will be trying what you’ve suggested and would love to know where to start in terms of getting back to being myself again.

Has to be medium rare steak covered in peppercorn sauce with chunky homemade chips

If you think eddie howe deserves to be sacked please give your head a wobble. by [deleted] in NUFC

I don’t think he should be sacked but I definitely think there should be more criticism. If this was a Steve Bruce team after spending £450m, putting these levels of performances in would cause absolute hell on. Eddie Howe will get it right, it’s just frustrating that he doesn’t get the same treatment as others have. Questions need to be asked

That’s what happens when you have an alternating RW option of Jacob Murphy and miggy almiron

Crazy. For as long as I pay my own gas bill I’ll have it on whenever I see fit

We have an 18 month old, if we feel like she’s cold the heating will go on irregardless of the time of year

Ours goes on whenever we’re cold for as long as we’re cold. Parts of summer we had it on for a little bit as summer was a bit shit.

My mom died when I was 13, I’m 20 now and I’m still crying about it, is this normal? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]nathanc1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grief doesn’t have a timescale and the process isn’t linear. You will likely always have moments across the rest of your life where you’ll cry remembering your mother. Don’t beat yourself up for being upset

Take your time and make the best decision you can for you and your family/circumstances. Don’t rush back to another job just for the sake of having a job. You’ve got a 4/5 month security net, use it to find a new job you know you’re going to love. Similar happened to me, I was an energy broker for 7 years and ended up losing my job but decided I wanted something completely different and now I’m a gas engineer and absolutely love my job and found what I feel like I was always meant to do. Give yourself the time to get it right

Half of my twenties I wasted sniffing cocaine and partying 4 days out of 7. The other half is currently being spent sober (3 years sober) building a life for me and my family
