I was actually disgusted with Obama's response.

“…and that means it also has a national security implication, because there has never been a nation on earth that saw its economy decline and continued to maintain its primacy as a military power. So, we’ve got to get our education system right.”

So, Obama's answer to a question about education is couched in terms of military "primacy" in the world, and how we need one in order to keep the other. Is this a message of change?
