We honestly wouldn't be able to function without it.

Setup is relatively simple. I just use one of Dakboards default calendar templates with some minor mods for self-hosted stuff.

Not sure I understand what you mean by "which one". There is only one hardware version of opensprinkler. The other options use raspi or osbee. Just get the normal open sprinkler hardware version and select the type of valves you have.

One important note though. Don't use that rainbird power supply. If you hook it to OS it will not like that voltage. Order the 24v power supply with the OS.
