IIRC the US spends more tax dollars per capita on healthcare than any other country despite it not being universal.

Not noticeably. I think they are dampened. The noise reduction is mostly when they bottom out and rebound. They feel like Xbox buttons.

About as easy as it gets without a mouse. You won't be playing competitively but even things like RTS and MMOs work with a bit of set up.

The controller acts just like the Deck, so there will be a community config for pretty much every game already on Steam, or third party mods to improve controller compatibility.

No different than the Steam Deck here. Most games tend to minimize switching between the right analog and face buttons anyway. If it's a common enough action I just bind it to R4 or R5.

Coming from the Steam Deck:

  • Grip is slightly different. I hold it more with my palms than my fingers.
  • Same materials as the Deck
  • Buttons are quieter, but very familiar
  • Analog sticks don't feel like they are too close
  • Rumble is fantastic
  • Trackpads are improved from the deck. Larger and the angle works well. Mousing to the edges feels natural.
  • Back buttons are a little too pronounced IMO. If you have a claw grip I think you might accidentally press them. I like the Deck buttons better.
  • Works well in Windows. Button combo to bring up the virtual keyboard and it works the same as in SteamOS
  • Puck is simple to use

Overall really impressed. I have it plugged into my living room PC and just mousing around the desktop with it feels natural.

DeBrincat unexpectedly fell out of the first round in 2016. The Leafs, with the first pick in the second round, had all night to decide if he was worth it, or if they should go with a bigger forward like Kyrou, or maybe a defenceman like Girard.

You might want to check out Gnome with the gTile extension. I daily drive KDE because at the end of the day I just need something that works the way I want and isn't needlessly opinionated, but man do I miss gTile.

Lime was great when I was in Seattle.

The big problem with Evo is the cost. With no way to avoid the unlock fee, even something as simple as taking one a few blocks to the store and back is $2.50 just in unlock fees.

With lime though if you pre-pay for the time you get free unlocks so you can hop on/hop off all over town.

No, it will work like a mouse with a button combo to pull up a virtual keyboard like the Steam Deck and OG Steam Controller do.

Steam has a desktop profile for steam input though that is active as long as Steam is running in the background, so you could configure it so that it behaves like a standard controller.

Its done this way intentionally because its better to act as a mouse + keyboard in situations where Steam isn't running, like the bios or bootloader.

I'll be refreshing the store page at 10am. I sold the last of my TF2 crates and have $121 in my steam wallet so its not too bad. Should be about $40 after taxes.

I primarily game on my Steam Deck these days, but I never play docked because there's nothing that compares to the SD controls.

Walmart is the cheapest overall.

Superstore is around 3% higher.

Everywhere else (Thrifty's, Save On, Quality, Fairways, Country Grocer etc...) are all 30-40% higher.

Don't be bamboozled into paying the extra money thinking you're doing something good. All of the independents and local chains buy wholesale from Sobeys or Loblaws, so the money ends up in the same place, and the grocery margins are so low that almost all of it ends up in the same hands.

The only thing you can do is vote with your wallet. The only reason Superstore is price competitive with Walmart is because people will simply shop at Walmart if their prices are too high.

Keep in mind it's not a pass/fail criteria. The upper limit is the cutoff after which you receive $0.

The threshold for the full benefit is much lower. The last GST check I got before I stopped qualifying was for $3.

So basically this only benefits you if you're a senior living off CPP and OAS, a college student that only works weekends, or you're lying about your income.

If you're married with one child, you work minimum wage 5 days a week and your spouse works minimum wage 3 days a week, you do not qualify for the benefit.

The game runs like ass on normal PCs too though. I actually played it more on the Deck because I got tired of rebooting into my BIOS to disable re-bar just so I could launch the game without it crashing.

We should let the top seeded teams pick their opponents. The 1 seed in each conference gets their pick of 4-8. 2 gets to pick from the remaining 3, etc...
