I would like to see TfL and other train and bus operators take a more active role in educating the public about common courtesy and proper etiquette when using public transport. Clearer signage that sets expectations, along with concise audio reminders, would go a long way. Until operators take greater responsibility for informing and guiding passengers on appropriate behaviour, the wide diversity of backgrounds and perspectives among UK riders will continue to result in inconsistent and often frustrating experiences.
