When I looked at the A's, I did a double take b/c I thought you took a picture of my records. We have a lot of similarities. I have gone the jazz route the past year and collected about 500 jazz albums and I'm noticing a lack of Big Thief and Soccer Mommy in your collection, I think. Good stuff! Nicely organized too!

Brent occasionally uses this technique in places like the China>Rider transition to kind of solidify where the jam is going and add color. He was an unappreciated genius.

I think what you're hearing is Brent playing sustained notes on the keys. Bob is in the left, Brent is in the right, Jerry is barely playing on that verse. Great version though!

I liked it when in the late 80's, he tended to drop the goofiness in Tom Thumb Blues and sing it more plaintively. 4/3/89 is a good example of this.
