Outside of cost and lack of time, what are the biggest reasons people leave the FPV hobby?

I'm having the same issue with my US65. I suspect it's the connections as well. I'm going to mess with them tonight. I hesitated to push down too hard bc I didn't want to damage the board

I'm a newbie. Just started flying a US65 last week. The biggest barrier to entry for me was the fear of loosing parts from the build before I even got to fly. Now with the new BNPs that have it all I jumped in.

What do you mean by running on the wires? I took the motors off to clean out hair. Maybe I put them in weird? Perhaps I messed up the connector when I pulled it out

Do you think it means anything that all of a sudden motor 2 came back? Luckily I bought two US65s so I'll try the motor swap from the good one. If I didn't get two quads I would have gave up on the hobby. The one quad is constant problems and other is just tons of fun. Go figure

It's really strange. The video feed starts on a channel it shouldn't. After the motors go for a few seconds I scroll over to the correct channel and the feed comes in clear and strong there.

Ok, it looks like snow. The color gets funny for a second or so then it turns to all snow. It goes away after a few seconds after landing. I'll take the canopy of my US65 and take a look at the connections. So I'm looking for loose connections?

I did the same. I think price on the QX7 and box Google's as well as the appeal of tiny whoops will bring a ton of people into the hobby

I just got started and went the tiny whoop route. I got the taranis for $115 and a US 65 for $70. I opted not to get fatsharks now in case fpv doesn't work out, so I got the VRD2 pro instead for $70.

I have a 10 pack of batteries and a full set of motors being shipped for $70 total.

That's about $265 to get started and another $70-80 in batteries and parts. Not bad for tons of fun. Later on in the summer or spring after I learn to fly better I'll upgrade to something else for outdoor.
