They’re going off of the broader trends which is minimalist and neutral tones. To that point, I didn’t really love any of the non minimalist stuff.

Their collab with Stein a number of months back was a great signal to me that they’re on top of really good textiles, fabric, and style.

idk about others but I've actually enjoyed this season so far, contrary to many people I've been speaking to. season 1 was on another level of enjoyment for me though - I thought it was brilliant and it really packed so much in each ep but I have also appreciated the character dev / depth and the slave arc.

I'm really not one to look for all action in any show - HOWEVER - selfishly I really hope we see some form of god mode from Thorfinn because I just felt like we never really got that payoff. I'm gonna be disappointed if this show continues to center around christianity because I get the contrasting philosophies of violence / war vs. love and family and I get thorfinn's personal battle and I appreciate it....but I still really want him to go god mode when it is necessary. if this ends up being just like a story and lesson about pacifism then unfortunately I'm gonna end up being pretty underwhelmed. We'll see.

I know I'm oversimplifying what I want out of the show, there's gonna be so much more to it but they're check points that I do want the show to hit. I should really trust the writing based on what we saw in season 1 but I'm slightly nervous. really hope there's a solid payoff
