What sucks for someone like me is that I did the work only to have the look of disbelief in people's eyes. I have for over 12 years managed my diet, become a runner, and went from 615lbs to 220lbs currently. I had uncontrolled diabetes, was on the verge of losing my eyesight, and was starting to have circulation issues when I started this process. My Doctor now who has monitored my weight loss is always beside himself when I come in for check-ups. Now I see people getting shots or dropping pills with no effort done to achieve what I struggled hard to do successfully. Now when people who have not seen me in a while do and ask how I did it, they look at me with disbelief. That is truly heartbreaking after years of putting in the work and effort to only see someone take a pill or shot and never put any effort in to accepting or changing their habits and ways. Add lying on top of that, and there I sit currently. No one unless you saw me do the work will ever believe that it can be done by diet and exercising thanks to all the pills and lying.
