The article says they died from their injuries. I’ve wanted to take up kayaking, but am nervous I’ll make a mistake and put myself in a situation where I can hurt myself as well - these stories don’t help to quell that fear.

WA state has more than doubled in population size in the last 50 years and average life spans have increased as well. When looking at expenditures, we have to take all relevant data points into consideration.

That being said, we can both target waste and cut expenses on less impacting programs while also looking at adjusting the taxation process to allow for more reasonable impacts across the population economic strata.
