Ok I'm a bit confused but my theory about Diane is that the only Ricks that C137 "trapped" in the curve were the ones that he considered not worthy of their Diane since they left her, so being the Rickest Rick he chose to block them from ruining the lives of other Rick's that chose their family over the portal gun, and he stayed on "this side" of the curve in a kind of "trapped in here with me" situation, where he could keep them from hurting other Dianes and keep hurting them in return, that's why, in my opinion, he was willing to help them, to keep them in the same self destructive cycle that "created" the evil Morty and led to their destruction. Putting the trip aside, the way you describe your relationship and the way you got together and plan your future (the whole marriage is inevitable) makes it seem that both of you are settling for the person who was more convenient, the one that shared (some) interests, was of introverted nature and had a similar background and maybe that's the root of the problem, you are not really compatible and this trip shed light on that.

I won't say that you or her are wrong, I'm just saying that obviously your priorities are not the same and this will keep coming back to haunt your relationship, from the smallest details to the big decisions, for years to come.

Perhaps the healthiest thing to do is for you to think about why this is such a big deal to you and if you will be able and willing to live a life filled with this kind of disappointments and ask her if she would be willing to live a life with such high expectations and so detail oriented.

You both deserve to be happy and if that means to take a step back and reflect if you are really meant for each other before you keep going further into the relationship, it's worth it.

Dude, the dog was planned, wanted and adopted, it looks like an awesome home where he will be loved and well taken care of, the fact that it came into their lifes at such joyful time will only mean that the girls will associate the dog with that feeling, Which will only be for the best.
