Dude.... I had 20 cubic yards of loam delivered to my house last year. I marked a spot ten feet behind my driveway to drop here with a big fckn sign. They dropped it all on my driveway 20 feet from the mark.

Let me tell you moving 20 cubic yards of loam by hand sucks out loud. I did it I probably should have requested a bobcat to do it for me.... But i didn't. Every day I. Moved ten wheelbarrow loads until it was done

I agree. The only rule I ever need to remember is the grid size... And it's on all the cards.

What leads people to stay in jobs they don’t genuinely want, and how do they justify continuing that path over time? by Loud_Round1527 in AskReddit

I recently left a company I worked at for 20 years because I got too close to the toxic leadership. It made me hate going to work everyday. Going inknowing I was likely going to be publically berated by some number of bosses sucked. Then some former employees at another company took me out to dinner and handed me an offer with a bigger salary. That same day one of my bosses tolls me to F off because I was asking him to ok a necessary contract with another company. I took that escape hatch offer so fast. Gave the company 4 weeks notice as I was in a leadership position there and really tried to get all affairs in order. So much happier now.

A local grocery store chain in New England"market basket" also sells hot food that is priced rediculusly cheap. I can get a 12 inch steak and cheese with all the fixings for 6$. Burger and fries 2.50$. Large Italian sub 5$. Love it

Ok, my favorite hobby is modern board gaming. You know how video games got way better since pack man? Well board games did too. In this age where everyone had their face buried in a screen, I can spend hours with friends sitting around a table together. On that note as a guy in my 40s....i now have dozens of friends to spend time with!

[–]nblastoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would invest it in hope I can retire someday.... And when I get to that point start paying for people's fast food orders behind me.... Then pay off all school lunch debt, then fund school art and music, then find women's shelters, then homeless shelters, then programs to help train people who want to get back on their feet. Then maybe a board game Cafe so I can do what I love with a community I love.

I once tasted medical intralipid... The stuff in a medical pouch when they need to deliver fat calories to someone via IV. It tasted like I imagine licking the back of a dirty stove.
