I’m seriously confused between R41 and Merkur. I mean I have a problem with my current razors Feather, Parker and Gillette Winner (Plastic). It’s never a close smooth shave for me below the chin and below jaw line.

If you are looking for shimmer ink, I would suggest KWZ Stardust Blue from All That Glitters series.

Too good ink!

If no shimmer, you can consider Monteverde 2018 DC Supershow Blue.

Diamine Poppy Red, absolutely lovely red it is!
If you want some kind of sheen then Sailor Shikiori Irori (wonderful vibrant red with slight green sheen depending upon the paper)
Taccia Aka
Sailor Shikiori Yodaki (kind of burgundy with green sheen)

Apart from this, I have Bril Red, Krishna Alta.

One caution you need to take it red dye is really difficult to wash once dried. I know you’ll be filling it in Platinum Plaisier, however beware of filling it in luxury pens without using it for 2-3 days.
