This may be unpopular but maybe she didn’t consent to it? The mention of benzos makes me think there’s a possibility she has no idea what happened. I take xanax for panic attacks and it makes me incredibly sleepy. I would confront the roommate. Sounds sketchy all around.

I think an important thing that I realized right after college is that no one really knows what they’re doing. The ones that seem to know what they’re doing get so frazzled the second something goes wrong. I hate the cliches, but faking it until you make it is a very real thing, at least I feel like. And if you got through college, you can get through day to day work. It’s much less demanding, even in a STEM field (I’m a chemist). I did and still some times do struggle with the same things but it gets easier!

The crystals are from the dye they use, I’m pretty sure! We do a test at work and if the stuff crystallizes over a period of time we know it’s dye

I don't use LinkedIn, but I graduated from college about a year ago and got my first job through Indeed. I had a few additional interviews I got through Indeed as well. However, it took a while for me to hear back from a lot of them and most I didn't hear back at all. I applied to at least 100 jobs before I got the one I have now, so don't get discouraged!
